Etrian Odyssey IV has recently been announced for release in July on the Nintendo 3DS however only within Japan at the moment. This series is the fourth installment in Atlus’ dungeon crawling RPG franchise that is all about making your way through the often brutal dungeons while being left to draw your own maps. This is the series first release on the Nintendo 3DS, originally having been available on the Nintendo DS exclusively, so I am interested to see how they make use of its unique capabilities once launched.
