For the fifth released Yakuza game in English, Yakuza: Dead Souls is shaking things up by adding a Zombie Infestation in Kamurocho as a main plot element. While the style of plot may have changed from your normal yakuza warfare and with it, gameplay changes to include more frequent use of firearms, it doesn’t mean they have changed one of the more unique draws to the game… the mini-games. Previous Yakuza games (At least from Yakuza 3 onwards) have let gamers take part in running/attending host clubs, do karaoke and baseball practice to name a few, and you will be happy to know that the game has a nice mix of them.
