I take you back to February 2011, where Madman Entertainment released the original TV series within Australia and I did a review of the first collection, only giving it a C- grade for a number of reasons (HERE). Irrelevant of this, after many years it turns out the KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple will be recieving a two part OVA series. The first OVA will be bundled with the manga series 46th volume on the 16th March and the second will be packaged with the 47th Manga Volume in May.
The above video showcases the OVA series first 7 minutes, with improved designs. There were some voice cast changes however as unfortunately Tomoko Kawakami and Yuzuru Fujimoto have passed away since the original release, however are replaced by Rie Kugimiya and Hiroshi Arikawa respectively.
