Square Enix Releases Trailer for First DLC of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

For those who are not familiar with the game, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is Square Enix’s first release on the Nintendo 3DS with the Final Fantasy series and is of the rhythm genre. It takes music from most Final Fantasy installments and uses them in a number of separate games that feature the music, Final Fantasy characters and following their rhythm. With the game being released in Japan tomorrow, they will also be releasing a set of eight DLC songs each of which will set you back 150 yen. The above trailer showcases them all but for those who just want the raw facts, here is a list of songs that will be available:

  1. Battle Scene I from Final Fantasy II
  2. Final Battle from Final Fantasy IV
  3. Seeking the Light from Final Fantasy V
  4. Cosmo Canyon from Final Fantasy VII
  5. Ride on from Final Fantasy VIII
  6. Fighters of the Crystal from Final Fantasy IX
  7. Someday the Dream Will End from Final Fantasy X
  8. Fighting Fate from Final Fantasy XIII

The game at the moment has only been announced for release in Japan. I would expect it to recieve some sort of official announcement for English release in the next few months.
