While it is nothing official at the moment, according to a Japanese game retailer.. GUST’s recently announced title Surge Concerto: Ciel Nosurge for the Playstation Vita will be a full game – but will come attached with monthly downloadable chapters – with the first coming free with the purchase of the game. Additional chapters are rumored to set one back around 500 yen, but as to what they entail is a blank at the moment. While the game at some points does look to be an RPG title, it seems to also include Simulation elements where you interact with main character Ion, who has lost her memory but talks and interacts with you through your Playstation Vita screen in real time.
Unfortunately specifics on this game are still relatively lacking, I hope to bring you more news and official confirmation when it is available. Unfortunately not many games requiring interaction between game character and player seem to make it out over here – but I will go looking at companies such as NIS America who usually pick up GUST titles for release somewhere down the line.
