New Little King’s Story Receives Official Release Date

NLKS 235x300 New Little Kings Story Receives Official Release Date

Several years ago, a small and I feel under-appreciated game was released title of Little King’s Story for the Nintendo Wii. The game made use of a number of different gameplay mechanics including world building, RPG and real-time strategy elements in order to deliver a complex and rather unique game that you would not have expected from the games cover and design which looked to be more of a childish game. A few months back it was announced that Konami would be publishing a brand new installment in the game, which includes a jump from the Nintendo Wii to the recently released in Japan Playstation Vita.

After a few weeks over the last day or so, Konami have announced that New Little King’s Story: The King Demon King and the Seven Princesses will be released on the Playstation Vita from the 29th March 2012 in Japan at a cost of 6,480 yen at retail and 5,980 yen from the Playstation Network. The game itself seems to retain much of the games original charm however makes use of the Vita capabilities and features a more serious style of graphics. The game has already been mentioned for international distribution however no official release date has been mentioned.
