ATLUS USA (Index Media Inc) in collaboration with Cyanide Studios are slated to release a title a little bit different from their normal repertoire of games. I am talking about Game of Thrones, a video game for the XBox360, Playstation 3 and PC which is based on the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin and the HBO television series Game of Thrones. ATLUS USA today unveiled that you will be able to pick up the title from stores beginning the 15th May 2012, however pricing and other information in relation to the games release is yet unknown.

This is not all they announced today however as the above trailer indicates. A new portion of the games website that they opened up today unveils the troubled waterside town of Riverspring and Sarwyck Keep, the home of its ruling family. A vacant lordship and civil unrest greet Alester Sarwyck, one of the game’s two main characters, as he returns home after a fifteen-year self-imposed exile.  He arrives as the town mourns the passing of his father, the elder Lord Sarwyck, forcing Alester to consider reclaiming rule of Riverspring and restoring order to his lordship.  The town itself was created exclusively for this game and joins key areas around the Seven Kingdoms that the players can explore.
