Your 36 Second Look at Disney’s English Dub of Arrietty

While those of us in Europe or North America have had the opportunity to see the English dub of Arrietty produced by Optimum Releasing, those in North America have had to wait a little while longer as Disney, who have been behind many previous Studio Ghibli English dubs produced their own version of it under the title of “The Secret World of Arrietty”. While the previous trailers have been let down with trailers that include English lyrical tracks in them, this 36 second clip posted by Yahoo! Movies gives us a look at a raw movie scene with nothing done to it. I have made my comments clear before that I personally prefer the UK English dubbed version, but seeing this scene play out has made me consider both having value – of course this will all depend on how the whole movie is and not just on one scene alone.
