Yakuza: Dead Souls Now Open for Pre-orders + Pre-Order Bonuses + “Who’s Got Your Back” Trailer

So what do you get when you add Zombies + Hostesses + the Yakuza + Guns + Karaoke together? Alternatively what do you get if you merge the successful Yakuza and Dead Rising series together? The answer is Yakuza: Dead Souls, the next game in SEGA’s Ryu Ga Gotoku (or Yakuza) line of games. In this spin-off title you return to Kamurocho which is now in ruins and has zombies infesting it. Enter Kiryu, Majima, Akiyama and Goda…. these four characters from the previous games (Two of which have been previously unplayable) will band together and fight the invasion.

SEGA today announced that pre-orders for the game are officially open, with select game stores offering a special pre-order bonus. In Australia, if you pre-order Yakuza: Dead Souls from EB Games, JB Hi-Fi, GAME or Gamesmen, you will recieved the Limited Edition complete with the Steel Book and Densetsu DLC Pack. This pack includes 8 unlockable new weapons, 14 firearms (For the hostesses to use), 8 new hostess costumes and a big collection of other extra items to keep you alive. Check your local store for the cost of the game.

The above trailer is titled “Who’s Got your Back” and it covers not only the four playable characters in the game, but the other characters who will “have your back” such as the civilians and recruitable hostesses – yes… they are not just pretty faces to have dates with in this game!.

Yakuza: Dead Souls will be available the 13th March in USA, the 15th March in Australia, and the 16th March in Europe, exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
