While we are still left wondering how exactly these trailers relate to Binary Domain, Sega and Studio Yakuza are still releasing them and maintain a very witty and creative charm to them. This time around Mr. Assault steps outside from his pedantic workplace and chills out at a hostess club with a few friends (Unveiling his special ability of measuring a girls bust size and bra size by just looking at them) and doing a bit of shopping down at the local convenience store.
While it is still a mystery as to what these are all about, you can’t not but get that nagging thought about a Yakuza and Binary Domain cross over considering for at least these videos, (Running) Hostess Clubs and going to a convenience store are two of the several different inclusions that separate Yakuza from other similar series. But of course, considering that Binary Domain is set far into the future – this lingering thought of mine would seem unlikely.
