Little Tail Bronz, the world visited in both Solatorobo and Tail Concerto may be revisited again in another game according to hints presented at a fan apprecation event held by CyberConnect2 for Solatorobo’s one year anniversary. While they presented a lot of stuff on the content which you can see pictures for at Famitsu, a statement made near the end of the event may be some of more interest to fans. Hiroshi Matsuyama, CEO of Cyberconnect2 stated that:
In the not so distant future, I would like to greet everyone in the Little Tail Bronx World. Although, I don’t know what media it will be. As long as it has everyone’s support, the Little Tails Bronx world will live forever.
In other words, there may just be a sequel to Solatorobo or at least another game based in the same world in the works somewhere down the line. While it may be ambitious for a company to claim a game world will live forever… this is the company that has kept the .hack// series which has been going now for 10 years (Since 2002) so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see another game or two at least set in Little Tail Bronz.
Solatorobo was originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2010 (Japan) and 2011 (Elsewhere) and was met with generally good reception. It was released in Japan by Namco Bandai, XSEED Games in North America and Nintendo in PAL regions including Australia and New Zealand.
