While there has been much debate over if Europe would be receiving a limited edition of the upcoming Nintendo Wii release of The Last Story, a game developed by the talent at Mistwalker and AQ Interactive. The contents of the limited edition have been more or less determined to be:
- A Nintendo Wii version of the game (Obviously!)
- Premium Steelbook (A metal case to store the game and the rest of the bundle in)
- A mini artbook
- A soundtrack consisting of around 7 tracks.
While I would not go around calling it the ultimate collectors edition, the fact that we are seeing the game released I am sure would be good enough to those who have been part of the crowds calling for this games release. On the cover of both normal and limited edition versions, both Hironobu Sakaguchi (Designer) and Nobuo Uematsu (Composer) are credited on the front.
You can pick up both these releases on the 24th February 2012 in Europe with an Australian release either at the same time or shortly after.
