Shining Blade (PSP) Receives Brand New Trailer + Twitter Confirmation About Some Battle System Mechanics

It turns out that while the Playstation Vita has recently been released in Japan, uptake might not have been so high as companies are still releasing what seem to be promising titles on the Playstation Portable which holds an incredibly high install base in the country. While I have been covering these PSP titles frequently over the last few months, I would like to share the trailer of Shining Blade – a PSP release due for release by SEGA on the 15th of March in Japan. The trailer primarily focuses on introducing the designs, characters, the battle system and a mixed bag of other gameplay features.

On the games official twitter page “@ShiningBladePR“, they also made mention to the games battle system. Unlike many games I feel that have been recently released, you are not forced to put the main character Rage in your party giving you almost free rein over what characters you play with – however there will be instances where you are forced to use certain character for the sake of plot or a mission, therefore it is beneficial to be familiar with at least the basic skills etc of each character. As well, the games cast is considerably large giving you a large range of party members to choose from however systems will be in place so they will no fall too far behind and you are not forced to fight an incredibly hard boss with all but one character being Level 1 with no stat improvements.
