While Madman Entertainment currently has their stream a weekday program going on in which an episode of either Nichijou, Deadman Wonderland, LASTEXILE -Fam-, GOSICK or Steins;Gate is released on a daily basis. However while these titles were announced for acquisition and therefore released several months ago, some may have been wondering about just what has happened to Persona 4: The Animation which when they first announced the acquisition was due to be streamed shortly. While it is not much to go on, in one of their first official company Facebook comments of the year, Madman announced this:
Persona 4 will also be starting it’s streaming season shortly!
Sure it might not be much to go on now, but it is better than no news right? There is no word on if we will be caught up to the Japanese release or if we will be slightly behind, but hopefully an two episodes a week for the first couple of weeks might catch us up to speed. In Japan, Persona 4: The Animation has reached the half-way point in the series now currently going through a two episode “Summer Vacation” episode set which covers the obligatory Holiday Grind that most have to experience while playing the game… but this time through the eyes of Nanako who never really got her chance to shine as a character in the game. Also included was a brand spanking new opening with the new song being Key Plus Words composed by Shoji Meguro, lyrics by Lotus Juice and performed by Shiroko Hirata feat. Yumi Kawamura, and a new (Nanako Inspired) ending sequence titled Koisuru Meitantei by Yui Horie.
