New Japanese Trailer for SoulCalibur V Released by Namco Bandai – Improvements to Online Mode

It seems like Namco Bandai offices all over the world are doing their bit to promote this game, from holding live tournaments in cinemas with big VMax screens, trailers, screenshots and many other promotions providing a good incite into how the game will play once it is released late-January, early-February. This recent Japanese trailer does not reveal much in terms of general gameplay however reveals quite a bit in regards to the online functionality. The game will include a new mode titled Player Match, allowing six players to join a custom battle room and while some will duel, others with a keyboard device attached to their console can use text chat to discuss fights or the games breast physics. There will also be a global Coliseum for people all around the world to battle each other and a twice monthly ranking battle to sort the best players from the rest.

You can pick up this game on both XBox360 and Playstation 3 this month thanks to the folks at Namco Bandai. I will hopefully have a review up for the game a week within launch.
