Listen to Me Girls. I Am Your Father! Portable – Not Just a Straight Visual Novel

While it isn’t as big as the previous two minute trailer, Namco Bandai released a second trailer for their upcoming Playstation Portable game “Listen to Me Girls. I am your Father” which is based off the light novel series by Tomohiro Matsu and more specifically, the recent anime release of the series (Aka. PapaKiki) which is now available for English streaming through Crunchyroll (Read my review of episode 1 HERE). While the second half of this trailer deals with the special edition which has already been covered in the first trailer HERE, the first half briefly showed that this game would not just be using a simple visual novel system but instead allow you to have some sort of intractability with the world – presumably to diversify into different character routes through talking with them rather than selecting options from a menu.

The game still has a while to release, with the official release date at the moment being the 26th April 2012 in Japan. Chances of us seeing it over here… very slim.
