Let’s Try Bass Fishing: Fish on Next – New Screenshots but not as Anime-Styled as The Games Mascot Suggests

banner 211x300 Lets Try Bass Fishing: Fish on Next New Screenshots but not as Anime Styled as The Games Mascot SuggestsI will be quite open that I am not someone who has ever found enjoyment in games surrounding fishing…. even that fishing game in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was never able to fully capture my interest and I think I tried it… once in the 150+ hours I put into the game. Let’s Try Bass Fishing: Fish on Next is a upcoming Playstation Vita game being developed by Kadokawa Games for release in March 2012 and is slated as your normal fishing game.

While I am not going to make a final judgement about the game until its official release, I can’t help but feel that slightest bit disappointed in seeing that the high quality anime-styled art of their mascot resulted in a more realistically designed fishing game… albeit the fact they have included the mascot as a playable character to justify the use of the character design.

Still, it doesn’t look like a bad fishing game by any means especially for a portable game so this might be up your alley… but it would be nice to see some games mix the normal gameplay a bit and go from ordinary fishing to *Insert Unique Fishing Style…. IN SPACE!*. Either way, take a look at these screenshots for the game:
