Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead Announced for Airing in April

Through a trailer mixing both busty fanservice and action-packed segments, Japanese publisher Kadokawa Shoten announced the second season to Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is this a Zombie?) which will be named Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Of the Dead. The series, based on Shinichi Kimura’s light novel series under the same name follows a normal high school boy named Ayumu Aikawa who ends up getting killed during a spree of mysterious serial killings but is resurrected as a zombie by the power of a necromancer. This process doesn’t end up going to plan and Ayumu depletes this girl of her magic powers, thus taking her place in the fight against Megalo.

Voice actress Iori Nomizu (Voices the character Haruna) will perform the seasons theme song ***Passionate. Crunchyroll streamed the first season so may be set up to simulcast the second season as well – while Funimation Entertainment holds the license for the first season, however no word on if they will also be acquiring the second season as of this post.
