Konami are set to be releasing yet another Suikoden game this year, due out on the Playstation Portable in early February. Recently on the games official website they unveiled some more information surrounding the character numbers and battle systems in the game. The game currently has over 40 characters announced for it, each of which had their profile and artwork uploaded on the website but at this moment in time it is not clear on if all of these characters will be recruitable or if only some of them will be. Out of how ever many characters are included in your party – only six can be used in your party at any one time – assumingly your protagonist and 5 party members, there are however few if any limitations on who you can add. A few other things to note are:
- Characters can team up and perform group attacks, with their liking of each other determining their overall strength.
- You can learn skills from other party members
- There are eight job classes in total, but can also have a subclass depending on the equipment you have on a character.
