Square Enix began the service of their latest Final Fantasy title, Final Fantasy Brigade on the Japanese Mobage Platform, well known for its many unique social networking games both online and through mobile phones (After looking, they have a lot more titles than the English Mobage releases). The game is avaialble through feature phones through the social game services while there will be an individual smart-phone web version released later on in the year.
In this game, you control your own character based off graphics highly similar to that of Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy. Your job is to travel around the world on your very own private airship, completing quests and mastering your character class in order to restore radiance to crystals. While it will obviously be no where near as indepth as other Final Fantasy releases in either plot or design, it looks like a pretty fun means of spending a bit of your time on the move.
Basic play is free however additional benefits, subscriptions etc will be available through a small fee.
