Last year it was hinted by Manabu Yamana from Genius Sonority that one of the games the team was working on was due to be announced soon. This game has now been unveiled as Denpa Ningen RPG, a Role-playing Game for the Nintendo 3DS that makes use of augmented reality and a comical RPG system. In the human world, there are beings known Denpa Ningen which are invisible to the human eye but when analyzing the “electric waves” of the world, are viewable as little critters that exist all around us. Using the Nintendo 3DS camera, you can capture these beings and create a party full of different abilitied Denpa Ningen and quest to save the world from the evil demon king.
It is due for release very soon, with the official Japanese release date being the 8th February 2012 with a pice of 800 yen on the Nintendo e-Shop. There is no word on if we will be seeing an international release as of yet – but looks pretty fun. Those who have access to the Japanese 3DS e-store will also be able to download a demo version starting tomorrow.
