Bandai Entertainment Closing May Speed Up Release of Nichijou and GOSICK in Australia

Twitter Bandai Entertainment Closing May Speed Up Release of Nichijou and GOSICK in Australia

I stumbled upon this rather interesting comment on the Madman Entertainment Official Twitter page. Kiddtic, from Kidd’s Anime Blog posted the question if they were going to release Nichijou as a subtitled work now that Bandai Entertainment has shut down, and got an interesting response about the potential of us seeing a release faster. While this does mean that there is a good chance we might not see an English dubbed version for a fair while – we may just see the English subtitled release sooner than we would have done.

English subtitled anime releases are becoming more and more common as both a way of getting releases out quicker to consumers (and releasing an English dub at a later date Eg. Clannad by Sentai Filmworks) or a means of releasing something that could quite possibly never receive and English dub. GOSICK and Nichijou are both released weekly on Madman’s streaming area of their website.
