Australian Classification’s for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai

As I am sure some of you might be wondering what the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai has been classified as for Australia right? It turns out that the series was classified as MA15+ due to Strong Animated Violence, which is the appropriate score I was expecting given previous releases of Higurashi have also netted MA15+ Scores for more or less the same reasons. Depending on where they end the first part, I would not consider it the most violent but instead deals with a consistently darker plot surrounding many of the issues already faced previously only brought to more light. The second last arc on the other hand is what I would consider the darkest one for at least the first two episodes, but that will not be included until Part 2 due to be released more towards mid-2012.
