Something to Keep in Mind for When you Purchase Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention

Already done a million loops of the main Disgaea 3 storyline and would like to jump straight into the action of the four new chapters – featuring new loli nekomata, busty demon teachers and the ability to seemingly kick Mao from his seat as main character AGAIN in lieu of using other characters? Fortunately with the game being released in Japan as a Playstation Vita launch title tomorrow, Nippon Ichi Software have revealed their obligatory skip code which allows you to bypass the main plot and jump straight into the new content. The code has been revealed as follows:

Step 1:
Go to the main menu

Step 2:
Without doing anything else, move the cursor to continue (つづきから in Japanese release)

Step 3:
Press the following button combination – Triangle, Square, X, Trianglem, Square, X, Circle. This should be followed by Mao’s voice.

Step 4:
Start a New Game or Continue and then speak to the new character that appears where the “Time Jumping” character usually is once you complete the game. This character will allow you access to the new chapters as well as all the originally-PS3 DLC content.

While this code hasn’t been officially endorsed by Nippon Ichi Software America, so it may not work with the English release – it remains valid for the Japanese version and I doubt they would go changing something like this for an international release.
