Reality Fighters is a game that has already been heavily promoted by Sony Computer Entertainment around the world at various conventions, including the recent EB Games Expo. Apparently Japan has just recieved an official release date of the 23rd February 2012, and unless things change with us outside of Japan, we will be receiving it as a launch title as well. So what is Reality Fighters? It is a means of showing off the Playstation Vita’s Augmented Reality capabilities by allowing you to superimpose your head into a personalised fighter character (See the trailer posted below for more details) and allow you and your friends to fight anywhere and everywhere… with the fighters adapting to the environment around you. If this proves successful when it is released is a completely different story – but I was impressed by the demo I saw at the EB Games Expo.
With the release of the official Japanese website came more screenshots which I will post below, but for those who have not heard of this game prior… take a peek at the included trailer below for everything you need to know about this game:
With any luck they would have fixed that problem they had with the PS Camera and TV Superstars on the Playstation 3…. I ended up looking…. not all that well at all.
