Some Persona Apparel For The Under-appreciated Games

At least to me, over the last few years Persona 3 and Persona 4 have received all the attention with manga series, HD game remakes and many other media forms, however after their PSP re-releases, Persona 1 and 2 have not received as much attention even if I would love to see an anime series based on either one of the two. However, Index Holdings / ATLUS have recently released a number of shirts in Japan sporting designs taken from the series. The four shirts above are based off the release of Persona 1 on the PSP, with a shirt with Satomi Tadashi’s face on it (TL) who is the recurring pharmacist in the game who has a catchy theme song. As well, three shirts based on the opening sequence (TR, BL and BR) are also available.

In terms of the four shirts for Persona 2, there is a much greater variety. The first is for “Squadron Phoenix Feather Man” (TL), which appears in the game as a mask and through several references. Also included was a shirt based on the blue butterfly (TR), a form of Philemon which to the more recent releases still appears, a “Gas Chamber” band logo, which is based on main character Eikichi Mishina and finally a rabbit doll shirt which is based on one of Maya Amano’s charms.
