While I don’t believe I have posted on this game before, Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die is a visual novel currently in development by Chunsoft, due for release on both Nintendo 3DS and Playstation Vita on the 16th February 2012 in Japan – with hopefully an English release sometime later. It could in a way be deemed the successor to 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, being developed by the same team. The game follows a group of nine characters who are trapped in an abandoned warehouse and forced to play a game where they must aid or backstab other contestants in order to collect “Bangle Points” and find a means of escaping their predicament…. of course not everyone will be given the luxury to escape… not even you as the main character.
Studio Gonzo, an animation studio behind titles such as Last Exile and Strike Witches have released a twelve and a bit minute anime introduction for the series in colaboration with Chunsoft, which follows main character Sigma from capture to his initial time trapped in the warehouse. Looks interesting so I hope Aksys Games decides to take the initiative and release it internationally like they did 999.
