Nippon Ichi Software Tease Two New Titles

fo 0 2 Nippon Ichi Software Tease Two New Titles

Unfortunately we will be waiting a short while until we actually know what these titles are, but at the Akihabara Denkigai Festival event held in Akihabara (DUH!) today, NIS CEO Sohei Shinkawa took the stage and announced three new titles – two of which are new to the international regions. To get it over and done with, the first title is a Japanese release of Cave Story 3D that NIS America released last November. The Japanese version however will have some form of collaboration with a retro game title – what retro game is so far a mystery.

The other two titles announced have simply been referred to as “New Adventure Title” and “New Dungeon RPG” without any word on console or any other useful information. We do have slight information on the Dungeon RPG: It is being developed by the Disgaea team (A Disgaea spin-off game?) with the keywords “Seven Angels”, “High Resolution Characters” and “Superlative Customization”.

Either way, both of these are due for release in 2012.
