Game of Thrones – ‘The Wall’ Trailer and Official Website Launch

While one of the more odd choices for an ATLUS USA release, Game of Thrones is a game collaboration between ATLUS USA, HBO and Cyanide Studios and is based off the novel “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin and the television series of the novel. The game is due for release in early 2012 for each the XBox360, Playstation 3 and PC game platforms.

The new trailer “The Wall” introduces viewers to the bitter cold and solitude of the massive barrier of ice that stretches across the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, protecting it from the wild lands beyond.  Each member of the Night’s Watch, the order of black-garbed soldiers tasked with patrolling and guarding The Wall, must swear a solemn, life-long oath to the order, one punishable by death should it be broken.  The trailer offers ample evidence of the game’s dedication to authenticity and to properly capturing the grit and drama the beloved fantasy series is famous for.

Also launched today is the games full official website which can be found at the link HERE. The site intends on guiding visitors through key locations featured in the upcoming RPG, discover key characters and events, learn about the different game modes and take part in mini-games in order to unlock web-exclusive content.
