image014 Final Fantasy XIII 2 to Receive an Exclusive Weapon Through Collaboration Between Square Enix and MicrosoftSquare Enix today announced a collaborative project with Microsoft in order to design and release as DLC, a console exclusive weapon from the 31st January 2012 (or from whenever the game is released in your region). The new weapon is a bow weapon for Serah titled Azrael, with the official blurb for the weapon being as follows:

Azrael is named after an angel who represents spirits and death. It is believed to possess the power to change the owner’s destiny, and the player’s Chain Bonus will upgrade when equipped.

You will be able to pick up this weapon from Chocolina the Merchant from Episode 2 on-wards for the cost of 80 Microsoft Points via the XBox Live Marketplace for XBox360. This joins an already considerably extensive roster of planned DLC weapons and game systems once the game is released in late-January, early-February 2012.
