The following video is for the title Monster Radar, due for release on the Playstation Vita at a later date. For those who are interested in what it is all about, I have quoted the summary posted by youtube user OkpaProductions below:
- Apart from location information the game uses the electronic compass of the vita to determine to present orientation.
- The type of monsters you encounter depends on the location where you are. For example you might encounter Cafe Monsters while being in a Coffee shop.
- The distance you travel also has influence on the game.
- Once you caught monsters you can do stuff that you always wanted to … like … pet them or clean up the mess they make.
- The monsters get sick and you have to take care of their treatment.
- Toys like for example a ball can be manipulated using the rear touchpad.
- Monsters that are taken care of will evolve.
- There is a game-internal “Monster-research-institute” where, for example, you can view the distribution of the type over the present country. (It was explained before, that there are varieties of certain monsters, like for example a “Osaka-Style-Ramen-Monster”) Of course a game-related knowledge-base can be found here as well.
- Monsters can be traded using the game internal currency. (which for example you get for covering distance) It was pointed out, that including varieties it should be difficult to catch all types be oneself, especially when it comes to nature-related monsters like mountain monsters etc.
- In the “home-center” stuff can be bought, like for example tools to capture monsters that are somewhat farther away from the player than 0 meters. There’s also the typical stuff like clothing etc.
