BoomSt Boom Street to Be Released in Australia on the 5th January 2012Perhaps you and your friends are after a change from “yet another” game of Monopoly yet still want a game that is all about capitalizing and overtaking your friends in the virtual market….. oh and lets say you want it… Mario Party style. Itadaki Street, originally released in Japan during 1991 and since then having countless releases on almost every Nintendo console is finally going to be making its way internationally, under the name Boom Street (In PAL regions) and Fortune Street (In North America).

The aim of the game is to take control of one of over 20 Dragon Quest and Super Mario characters, alongside up to three friends or computer players and attempt to financially dominate one of the many Dragon Quest and Mario inspired worlds. Through the use of in-game stock markets, development of a property portfolio  and many other options – you are given quite a number of means to financially succeed.

Will it be any good? You can pick up your copy on the 5th January 2012 for the SRP of $69.95. It is only available on the Nintendo Wii.
