While I do actually own Devil May Cry 3 on the Playstation 2, I have never so much as played a single minute of any of the four games currently available - although in my defense they were some of the last purchases I ever made for the console. That being said, there is no real need to run around looking for the discs or pull out your hair while trying to get your 50″ television to view a PS2 game perfectly, as just like Ico/Shadow of the Colossus and God of War, the first three games in the Devil May Cry saga will be fortunate enough to receive a HD re-release featuring the gameplay you loved, only more suitable to larger televisions. The collection will include DMC 1, 2 and 3, however will not include installment four, which is already available on both Playstation 3 and XBox360 consoles.
The official Japanese release date has been announced as the 22nd of March 2012, however there is also an English distribution of the collection due for distribution at some point before or after this release. All distribution will be handled by Capcom. The game will also include trophy and achievement support, and there is no work on any limited editions for any region.
