Will You Survive The Septentriones Invasion in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2? – Game Screenshots and Official Cover Art

devilsurvivor2 boxart rp 300x269 Will You Survive The Septentriones Invasion in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2? Game Screenshots and Official Cover ArtWhile it is perhaps just that little bit different from the original Japanese cover art that featured all of the main characters, ATLUS USA today revealed their cover art for their Nintendo DS (Yes, the non-3D DS is still going strong) release of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. The cover retains the light and dark blue theme of the original Japanese cover art, however as you can see, only has the Protagonist, Io Nitta and Daichi Shijima on it, which in the end is still good.

This is a sequel to the original Devil Survivor game which focused on surviving and solving the mystery behind a lockdown of Tokyo and surrounding areas. There is no evidence to show that the previous game has anything to do with what is unfolding in Devil Survivor 2. Beings called Septentriones begin to invade Japan and begin to attack Tokyo and surrounding areas on a Sunday. The protagonist and his friends decide to fight back and make a contract with a demon to become Thirteen Devil Messengers (Yes, meaning 13 main characters) allowing them to summon/capture demons and fight against the beings, with at least one “boss” battle a day.

The game retains a few features of the previous game such as being able to read ahead into the future, at times through imagery as well, alongside the implementation of the Enishi System which is similar to social links where your interactions with party members will increase their “Enishi” level and give them special boosts. But I am sure more on these systems will be unveiled sooner…. until then, it may not be much but feast your eyes on these 8 in-game screenshots.
