A friend of mine today, after reading my review of the Playstation 3 release of the game asked about what film strip I received with my order. For those who pre-ordered and got one of the initial print versions of The Idolm@ster 2 on the Playstation 3 regardless of if it was the normal edition or limited edition received a small film strip consisting of a few frames from the anime series. While I don’t have an actual photo of my strip as my camera didn’t seem to like it – I was fortunate enough to get the scene above from the animes first episode featuring both Yukiho holding a shovel (Don’t know why – didn’t actually watch the anime) and Yayoi in the background. Fitting for me as those two appeared in my idol group for my first playthrough.
Of course… not everyone was fortunate to get a decent film strip as it seems every scene of the anime was included – meaning that unfortunate souls such as kaizifs on Gamefaqs who received a film strip of an elevator.
