Persona 3: Portable Upgraded to MA15+ Rating in Australia

pspaus Persona 3: Portable Upgraded to MA15+ Rating in Australia

In reply to my original article about Persona 3 Portable being released in Australia starting from the 11th November (See here for more), Ross, under the Twitter username @Ghostlight_Ross made this comment:

@OtakuStudy Thanks. I’m just glad to have it get past the OFC at last.

So I got curious and looked at what classification the game actually got, and it turns out it was given an MA15+ rating for Strong Themes and Violence, in comparison to Persona 3 that got an M classification for Moderate Violence and Persona 3 FES that was classified M for Fantasy Violence. This was actually a big shock that the game was classified for “Strong Themes and Violence” considering that having played all three versions of the game – the themes didn’t really differ in intensity between them.

But either way, the good news is that it will be released over here!
