It has been around a decade since the original Halo game was released on the original XBox, PC and Mac consoles. In what could be potentially one of the greatest and well known First Person Shooters with support of spin-off series such as Red vs Blue… it was about time this game got a HD remake to bring it back to glory, considering that now it could be considered more then outdated. This XBox360 version of the game, being developed by 343 Industries is due for release on the 15th of November.
Dan Ayoub, executive producer of publishing at 343 Industries had this to say:
We’ve poured all our passion and energy into making ‘Halo: Anniversary’ a truly faithful remake of the original classic, and we can’t wait to join the fans online and commemorate ten years of historic gaming together on Nov. 15.”
Not only do you receive the HD version of the original campaign and some of the “most memorable” multiplayer maps in Halo’s history…. but also new features are included such as cooperative play over Xbox LIVE, six reimagined multiplayer maps and one new Firefight mission, a Classic graphics mode, Achievements, innovative Kinect and 3-D support, and new challenges and story to uncover.
You will be able to pick up this title from many retailers at a RRP of AUD $69.95. Those who preorder get access to two special bonuses, the Master Chief Avatar Armor and the exclusive “Grunt Funeral” skull, which causes the series’ most lovable enemy to explode in a blaze of plasma when killed.
