While the wait has been considerably long for this series, with Madman Entertainment having announced their acquisition of its license many months back, they have finally started up their LEGAL streaming to residents of Australia and New Zealand with the first episode, and further episodes to be released periodically on Mondays at 9:30 am (Melbourne Local Time).
GOSICK takes place in 1924 in a small, made-up European country of Sauville. It centers on Kazuya Kujo, the third son of a Japanese Imperial soldier, who is a transfer student at St. Marguerite Academy and Victorique, a mysterious yet beautiful and brilliant girl who never attends class and spends her days reading the entire content of the library or solving mysteries that even detectives can’t solve. They meet at St. Marguerite Academy, where urban legends and horror stories are all the rage.
This is not the only title they intend on streaming before a DVD and/or Blu-ray release, with them stating in their announcement that: “We will also be launching even more new shows shortly“. Now… what are you waiting for, click HERE to access the Madman Screening Room!
