While you will no doubt have seen Sonic Generations on the Playstation 3 and XBox360 on store shelves, you may be wondering what ever happened to the Nintendo 3DS release? Well, the game is due for release a little later than the other two, which after being reviewed by me received a B+ Grade. The above Japanese trailer showcases some of the gameplay features and stages included in the game. Personally, I question the addition of Escape From The City (Personally one of the more memorable levels in the Sonic franchise) song being played considering the stage is not included in the game, but instead it has a nice compilation of levels which gives the opportunity to those who have played the console version to enjoy this portable one. The stages included in this game are:
- Green Hill Zone (Sonic 1)
- Casino Night (Sonic 2)
- Mushroom Hill (Sonic 3 & Knuckles)
- Emerald Coast (Sonic Adventure)
- Radical Highway (Sonic Adventure 2)
- Water Palace (Sonic Rush)
- Tropical Resort (Sonic Colours)
Alongside a number of different bosses from the various games.
The 3DS version of the game is due out between the 22nd November and 1st December 2011 depending on where you reside.
