With the Sailor Moon series having finished its release schedule well over a decade ago, it has become a series where you hear more of people requesting anime companies re-release the title then actual memories of the series… I am in the former group. Despite this, it seems that one character has been pulled out of retirement and being placed into a Girls game…. Girls RPG: Cinderella Life by Level-5 to be precise.
Despite the words RPG being in the games title, the game actually does not involve any normal Role Playing Game elements such as monster battles, collecting swords or grinding to level up your character.. instead opting to take the RPGesque stat systems and make it into a game all about fashion, girly chit-chat, shopping, cooking et cetera – which I suppose they believe targets the younger female audience.
The game itself sets you as a maid of Castle Neosienne, where you interact with various rich people, I assume it being the reason it is called Cinderella Life. The game is due out in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS in February 2012. No news of an English release.
