Previously, I think we can all agree that Australia got the short end of the stick, especially when it came to JRPG’s. We certainly have some brilliant game publishers over here who published some of the games but wern’t able to cover them all – causing us to miss out on certain classics such as Trinity Universe, Last Rebellion (Okay, maybe not that game…) for example. Over the last year or two things have been improving, with almost simultaneous releases or even game releases of a few months of our US counterparts. There have also been the odd case where we recieve games months before the US (White Knight Chronicles II) or even closer to PAL exclusives such as Xenoblade Chronicles. Why is this paragraph relevant? Well…

Thanks to the Australian Classifications website, it seems that Nintendo Australia will be releasing The Last Story on the Nintendo Wii sometime in the near future! Developed by the team Mistwalker, responsible for (in my opinion) the best XBox360 RPG Lost Odyssey – this is an action RPG that has only been hinted at for PAL regions prior and when released in Japan, received high scores such as a 38/40 from Famitsu.

Now, the only information we have is from the Australian Classifications Website, and until Nintendo Australia is willing to say a few words about this revelation, unfortunately all we can do is wait.
