Consoles do have quite a considerable sized puzzle game market, with games such as the Portal series, Catherine and many others providing fans of the genre with enough content to mentally stimulate their minds. On the portable consoles however, Professor Layton is in my opinion the current gold standard for a puzzle game, providing both an engaging storyline and complex enough puzzles.
Recently, a swarm of small cutscene trailers have been released by Nintendo of America, which give you a glimpse into the storyline of the series instead of the gameplay. You can find more of these cutscenes on the official website HERE or on the Youtube channel of user bdrumerdrums.
The game is due out in October for those in North America, while those in PAL regions including Australia will have to wait until early December.
