The one thing that you will not see in every side-scrolling platformer that Sonic the Hedgehog, even in the original games did well were the boss fights, and have continued to be an important element of the games even as they were brought to 3D and lost most of that 2D Platforming charm. This trailer for Sonic Generations, shows that they have not dropped the boss fights, and will be bringing back many popular bosses for both classic and modern Sonic’s to defeat including Metal Sonic, Chaos (Sonic Adventure 1), Shadow and who can forget the evil Dr Eggman?
