Rayman Origins – The Great Bubble Wars Combat System

Having just come back from the EB Games Expo and having played Rayman Origins first hand, I can tell you that it is a hell of a lot of fun, especially when you have three other people around you playing alongside as either Rayman, Globox or two Teensies. The game takes you back to the original roots of the game as a side scrolling platformer – but it is anything but the original with the multiplayer mode, plenty of comedy to be had and the bubble attack mode, where if you or an enemy are attacked, you turn into a bubble. While your multiplayer party members can bring you back through attacking you, jumping on an already bubblefied enemy will defeat them.

I will save my impressions for another article, but here is a trailer showing off ten ways to attack your enemies in a most cute way.

Starting from the 24th of November in Australia, the game is due out on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. I suggest buying the game for the console you have the most controllers on!
