Whilst some have determined that the XBox360 has… in simple terms “failed” in the Japanese market with considerably low sales of both games and the console itself in comparison to their competitiors – Microsoft have decided to continue their marketing campaign with an XBox360 Appreciation Festival held in Akihabara. They have already announced a number of titles that will be available at the festival including:

  • Rage
  • Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary
  • Batman Arkham Asylum
  • Dragon’s Dogma
  • Kinect Star Wars
  • Dead Island
  • Onechanbara Z Kagura
  • Dance Central 2
  • Forza Motorsport 4
  • Labyrinth Croxx Blood Reloaded
  • Tropico 4
  • Michael Jackson: The Experience
It is quite a hefty list of games that world at least appeal to the Western gamer, however I suppose we will see if this pays off for Microsoft in the end. Of more interest is the fact that they have apparently stated there will be two more additional titles at the event. Now, these could be games already announced for the Western market or could be new titles or titles that “de-exclusive” games.. however despite rumours going around – I wouldn’t go guessing the games too much, as they have released 0 information on what they will be.

Either way, we should find out when the event is held on the 16th of October. In Akihabara that day and want more information on the festivities? Check out the events website HERE.
