I Know Pokemon Has Received the Demonic Treatment… But Minecraft?

I shared this with my friends on Facebook about a week ago, and it spawned quite a lot of discussion on their part, so I would be interested to see how you all think about this. Lets go back, Pokemon has seemingly always been called a demonic series, through the means of capturing monsters, the fact they actually exist and of course, the fact that they “evolve”. This video is from a religious (Christian?) talk show and spreads the normal sentiments about Pokemon including that they evolve into more demonic beings and that from the series, all the 646 Pokemon are named after demons – So when you and your mates talk about Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Mudkips – you are actually talking about the occult.

However, Minecraft has now seemingly been targeted. Now… what could possibly be the problem with Minecraft when all you do is dig, fight, hide and build stuff? Apparently it is so addictive that they have to step in as it stops children reading their bibles or whatnot…… but I suppose wouldn’t that be a pat on the back for the Minecraft team for having created such an addictive game? They do bring up a good point that parents should keep an eye on their younger childrens online actions and limit access if it inhibits school work or their social life – however the context it is placed in does ruin that message.

Regardless of what side of the debate you are on, I am sure you will find this an interesting watch.
