Grab Yourself a Rare Playstation 2 game on the Playstation Network This Week!

Have you been looking for that rare game but just havent been able to find it in stores? Is it a Playstation 2 game? If so, I can share the same feeling – but it seems like Sony Computer Entertainment might ease that tension a bit with their upcoming “Only on Playstation Network” campaign. One of the components of the campaign is their “Rare Classic Games”, in which they intend to release niche third-party titles from the Playstation 2 to your Playstation 3. They have announced the following games so far for release:

  • Odin Sphere
  • GrimGrimoire
  • Maximo: Ghosts to Glory
  • Ring of Red
  • God Hand
All of which were great games, yet not ones that were released in huge batches or recieved the recognition they deserved, especially GrimGrimoire which is a personal favourite game which I reviewed many a  year ago HERE. Unfortunately, there is no word on if these will be redesigned especially for the Playstation 3 or come with new features such as trophies.
