@Field – The Mixture of Golf, Moe and uh…. Pinball?

If you thought the 100 titles already announced for the Playstation Vita in Japan was overkill, you also have to consider the fact that more and more titles are being announced as the days pass – this time, the game is @Field, SEGA’s golf game for the console… only it has the moe gal game elements and to mix things up even more – apparently some form of pinball to it. Golf games are generally enjoyable but most do lack originality – especially with long-running series such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour and Mario Golf, that have had multiple versions but do not differ that much in gameplay (In terms of Mario Golf.. do not get me wrong, I actually have enjoyed and highly recommend the series for anyone after a golf game).

As you can tell from the first image in this post – there are a number of different appearances to use – however the kick is that every girl is not human, but a doll. Therefore – you will be afforded a considerable number of costume and appearance choices to diversify your girl from the pack. Further costumes, alongside other courses and items can be unlocked through the over 100 missions this game will have.

In terms of courses, there is no word on how many levels or the such will be available, however it will allow you to play with three other friends in the expected “Multiplayer Golf Wars”, but in addition, you can create your own custom field and share it with your friends – allowing you to make easy or brutally hard ones which your friends will pull their hair out over.

The game has so far only been mentioned on Amazon Japan for a price of ¥3,990. Now we must ask the question… what is next for the Playstation Vita… and how much will our wallets suffer for it being released?
