You may recall me mentioning that Microsoft would be holding a games event in Akihabara last weekend. Despite the XBox360 not being met with such a high level of success as it did internationally, Microsoft are still trying to appeal to their demographic and obtain exclusives for their console – showing that they have far from given up yet.
The announcement was in regards to Cave’s upcoming title Instant Brain, an “adventure” visual novel. To sweeten the deal when purchasing the game – and appealing to both visual novel and bullet hell shooter games, Cave will be including a bonus copy of DoDonPachi with every copy of the game. This will also have Kinect support, meaning you can control the ship with your hands.
Of course, if we will ever see this game outside of Japan is yet to be determined.
