The King of Fighters XIII Delayed Until November 22, But New Trailer to Soften the Blow

As the title of this article states, The King of Fighters XIII has unfortunately been delayed until the 22nd of November 2011 from its original release date in October. Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ATLUS had this to say on the issue:

While fans will initially be disappointed by the news that THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII is slightly delayed, the additional time will ensure that the game delivers on its promise of becoming the finest entry in the series’ 15+ year history. KOF fans have tremendous expectations for this title, as do we.  Our commitment is to nothing less than the very best THE KING OF FIGHTERS game ever, and all of our efforts and resources are dedicated to assisting developer SNK PLAYMORE to that end.

However, they have released a new trailer to show off what exactly you are waiting this extra time for, and in comparison to most fighting games I have played – it has a considerable amount of content for both the casual and hardcore gamer alike. Don’t forget as well, participating retailers will have a 4-CD soundtrack compilation which you can receive if you pre-order from them.
